"He aha te mea nui o te ao? He tangata, he tangata, he tangata."
What is the most important thing in the world? It is people, it is people, it is people.

This whakataukī sits at the heart of everything we do at Phreaze Factory.

We're passionate about supporting independent artists, musicians, creatives, hip hop lovers, small businesses, whānau, and communities from all walks of life. Whether you're building a brand, creating music, learning new skills, sharing your culture, or simply looking for a place to belong, we believe people thrive when they are supported, encouraged, and connected.

Supporting communities, independent artists & musicians, hiphop fans, small businesses and all in between!

Based in Tauranga Moana, Aotearoa, and located within the Historic Village, Phreaze Factory is home to a range of creative, cultural, and community-focused ventures. From custom clothing and signage, to PFC Musicwear, Pasefika Haven (Island gifts and supplies), and The Purple Lab's workshops and online communities, our mission is to create opportunities that empower people through creativity, self-expression, education, and collaboration.

Phreaze Factory

Phreaze Factory is spearheaded by female hip hop artist, entrepreneur, and community advocate Phreaze, originally of the iconic Urban Prophetz crew.

After spending more than ten years living and working in Australia and travelling the world, Phreaze returned home to Aotearoa with a wealth of knowledge gained through the music industry, business ownership, creative industries, and grassroots community work. Along the way, she witnessed both the challenges and potential within independent creative communities and became increasingly passionate about creating spaces where people could access opportunities, develop their talents, and connect with others on similar journeys.

That passion became Phreaze Factory.

Drawing on extensive experience across music, events, education, business, and community development, Phreaze and the team are committed to opening doors for independent artists, musicians, creatives, and small businesses by providing accessible services, practical learning opportunities, and supportive environments where people can grow.

Today, Phreaze Factory is more than a business. It is a creative hub built on the belief that when we invest in people, we strengthen communities. Through creativity, culture, collaboration, and connection, we aim to help individuals discover their potential and create meaningful impact within their own communities.

Because at the end of the day, the most important thing is — and always will be — the people.
